Kallai was a priest who served during the time of Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, after the Babylonian exile.
Kallai was a priest serving during the time of the high priest Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, in the early Second Temple period (Nehemiah 12:20). He is listed as the head of the priestly house of Sallai in the register of priests who served under Joiakim after the return from Babylon. Kallai is known only from this priestly roster and no further biographical detail is preserved.
