Uzai was the father of Palal, who helped repair Jerusalem's wall.
Uzai was the father of Palal, one of the workers who repaired a section of Jerusalem's walls opposite the Projecting Tower and the upper palace during Nehemiah's rebuilding project (Nehemiah 3:25). The wall-repair list in Nehemiah 3 preserves a detailed record of the individuals and families who contributed to the restoration of Jerusalem. Uzai is known only through this paternal reference in that catalogue.
