فيلبي 2:11
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Study Note
'And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father' — the conclusion of the Christ-hymn (Philippians 2:5-11) applies Isaiah 45:23 ('unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear') to Jesus, transferring to him the exclusive universal homage reserved for Yahweh. This is one of the New Testament's most explicit Christological statements: the name of the Lord (kyrios) that Isaiah 45:23 attributes to God is here bestowed on the exalted Jesus. Romans 10:9's confession 'Jesus is Lord' and 1 Corinthians 12:3's 'no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost' reflect the same confessional formula.
