اللطف
Compassionate, helpful behavior that flows from God's own character. The Hebrew word hesed (loving-kindness, steadfast love) is one of God's defining attributes, appearing over 240 times in the Old Testament. Romans 2:4 teaches that 'God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance.' Ephesians 4:32 commands, 'Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.' Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and an essential marker of love (1 Corinthians 13:4). Proverbs 31:26 praises the virtuous woman who 'speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.'
