Biblische Theologie
The study of God's progressive revelation across the storyline of Scripture — from creation to new creation. Unlike systematic theology, which organizes topics logically, biblical theology traces how themes develop historically through the Bible's narrative arc. Key themes include the kingdom of God, covenant, temple, and the seed promise (Genesis 3:15). Luke 24:27 records Jesus explaining 'what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself,' demonstrating that the entire Bible points to Christ. Biblical theology reveals how the Old Testament anticipates and the New Testament fulfills God's redemptive plan.
