Liberación

Non-Jewish peoples, sometimes called 'the nations' in Scripture. While God chose Israel as his covenant people (Deuteronomy 7:6), his plan always included the nations. God promised Abraham that 'all peoples on earth will be blessed through you' (Genesis 12:3). Prophets foretold Gentile inclusion: 'Nations will come to your light' (Isaiah 60:3). Jesus ministered to Gentiles (Matthew 15:21-28), and the book of Acts narrates the gospel's expansion to them through Peter's vision (Acts 10) and Paul's missionary journeys. Ephesians 2:11-22 celebrates how Christ broke down the 'dividing wall of hostility' between Jew and Gentile.
