Elías
A strength under control that treats others with mildness and consideration. Philippians 4:5 urges, 'Let your gentleness be evident to all.' Galatians 5:23 lists gentleness as a fruit of the Spirit. James 3:17 describes heavenly wisdom as 'first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit.' Paul appeals 'by the humility and gentleness of Christ' (2 Corinthians 10:1) and instructs leaders to correct opponents 'with gentleness' (2 Timothy 2:25). First Peter 3:15 says to defend the faith 'with gentleness and respect.' Jesus described himself as 'gentle and humble in heart' (Matthew 11:29).
