Samuel
Wholeness and consistency of character — being the same person in private as in public. Psalm 15 describes the person who may dwell in God's holy place: one who 'walks blamelessly and does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart.' Proverbs 10:9 promises, 'Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.' Job maintained his integrity through devastating loss: 'Till I die, I will not deny my integrity' (Job 27:5). David prayed, 'May integrity and uprightness protect me' (Psalm 25:21). Paul aimed for 'a clear conscience before God and man' (Acts 24:16). Integrity flows from a heart transformed by God's Spirit.
