Pentateuco

A defensive weapon symbolizing God's protection and the believer's faith. Genesis 15:1 records God telling Abraham, 'I am your shield, your very great reward.' Psalm 3:3 declares, 'You, Lord, are a shield around me.' Psalm 18:35 praises, 'You make your saving help my shield.' Proverbs 30:5 affirms, 'He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.' Ephesians 6:16 instructs believers to 'take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.' The shield represents trust in God's sovereign protection — not immunity from attack, but confidence that no spiritual assault can penetrate the defense of active, living faith.
