Josué

Human limitation that becomes the unlikely venue for God's power. Paul's thorn in the flesh taught him that God's 'power is made perfect in weakness' (2 Corinthians 12:9). He concluded, 'When I am weak, then I am strong' (12:10). First Corinthians 1:27 declares, 'God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.' Moses protested his inadequacy (Exodus 4:10); Gideon's army was reduced to 300 (Judges 7); David faced Goliath without armor. Romans 8:26 acknowledges, 'The Spirit helps us in our weakness.' Hebrews 4:15 assures that Jesus 'is not unable to empathize with our weaknesses.' Weakness acknowledged becomes an invitation for grace.
