Pain
A staple food that carries profound spiritual symbolism throughout Scripture. God provided manna — bread from heaven — during Israel's wilderness wandering (Exodus 16). The tabernacle's showbread represented God's provision (Leviticus 24:5-9). Jesus multiplied loaves to feed thousands (Matthew 14:15-21) and declared, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry' (John 6:35). At the Last Supper, Jesus broke bread saying, 'This is my body given for you' (Luke 22:19). The breaking of bread became central to Christian worship (Acts 2:42). Bread represents sustenance, provision, communion, and Christ's sacrificial body.
