Shemeber, the king of Zeboiim, who joined the battle against Chedorlaomer and his allies.
Shemeber was the king of Zeboiim, one of the five cities of the plain of the Jordan valley, who formed a coalition with the other kings against the four eastern kings led by Chedorlaomer (Genesis 14:2). After their defeat at the Valley of Siddim, the survivors fled to the mountains, and their cities' treasures were carried off, prompting Abram's pursuit to rescue his nephew Lot.
