Shinab was the king of Admah who, along with other kings, rebelled against Chedorlaomer, king of Elam.
Shinab was the king of Admah, one of the five cities of the Jordan plain, who allied with the other city-kings against Chedorlaomer and the four eastern kings in the battle of the Valley of Siddim described in Genesis 14:2. His coalition was defeated, and survivors fled to the mountains while the cities' goods were taken.
