जअबदिएल

Zabdiel was the father of Jashobeam, who served as the commander of the first division of David's military organization, a force of twenty-four thousand men assigned to the first month of the year (1 Chronicles 27:2). Jashobeam ben Zabdiel is also identified as one of the three greatest of David's mighty men and is credited with single-handedly killing three hundred warriors in one engagement. Zabdiel is known only through this paternal connection to his celebrated son.
