Ahiah was a priest who sealed the covenant during Nehemiah's time.

Ahiah was a priest who sealed the covenant of faithfulness to God recorded in Nehemiah 10, when the returned exiles gathered to recommit themselves to Torah observance (Nehemiah 10:26). The covenant addressed specific failures: intermarriage with surrounding peoples, violation of the Sabbath, and neglect of the temple tithe. Ahiah's signature as a priest placed him among the religious leadership that formally bound the community to renewed obedience. He is known only from this single reference in the Nehemiah covenant list and cannot be confidently identified with any other Ahiah mentioned in the Old Testament.
