Jaazaniah, the son of Azzur, was one of the twenty-five men in Ezekiel's vision who were devising iniquity and giving wicked counsel.
Jaazaniah son of Azzur was one of twenty-five men whom the prophet Ezekiel saw in a vision at the east gate of Jerusalem's temple, identified as princes of the people who were devising iniquity and giving wicked counsel to the city (Ezekiel 11:1–2). God condemned their false assurance that Jerusalem would not be destroyed and announced judgment upon them. Pelatiah son of Benaiah, who stood alongside Jaazaniah, died during the vision (Ezekiel 11:13), intensifying the prophetic message about the fate of Jerusalem's corrupt leadership before the exile.
