マアズヤハ

Maaziah was the head of the twenty-fourth and last priestly division organized by King David for the rotation of temple service (1 Chronicles 24:18). The twenty-four courses ensured continuous, orderly priestly ministry throughout the year, with each division serving approximately two weeks annually. Maaziah is mentioned only in this organizational list and is otherwise unknown; a different Maaziah, a priest who sealed Nehemiah's covenant, appears in Nehemiah 10:8.
