Rab-mag, a Babylonian official, was present at the capture of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar's army.
Rab-mag was a high Babylonian official whose precise title likely designated a chief religious or military officer in Nebuchadnezzar's court, mentioned in Jeremiah 39:3, 13. He was among the Babylonian commanders who took up position at the Middle Gate of Jerusalem following the city's fall in 586 BC and participated in the arrangements for Jeremiah's release from captivity.
