Bigtha was one of the seven eunuchs who served King Ahasuerus.

Bigtha was one of the seven eunuchs who served King Ahasuerus (Xerxes I) of Persia and were commanded to bring Queen Vashti before the king at the great banquet (Esther 1:10). When Vashti refused to appear, the king's counselors advised deposing her, setting in motion the events that led to Esther's rise as queen. Bigtha is one of seven named royal chamberlains whose collective role initiates the pivotal events of the book of Esther.
