Bunni was one of the leaders of the people who sealed the covenant during the time of Nehemiah.

Bunni was one of the leaders of the people who set their seal on the covenant document during Nehemiah's great assembly of covenant renewal (Nehemiah 10:15). The signatories of this covenant—leaders, Levites, and priests—committed themselves to walk in God's law, observe the sabbath, support the temple with tithes and offerings, and avoid intermarriage with surrounding peoples. A Levite named Bunni also appears in Nehemiah 9:4 among those who led the people in confession.
