Peruda or Perida, the ancestor of a family of Solomon's servants who returned from the Babylonian exile.

Peruda, also written Perida in Nehemiah 7:57, was the ancestor of a family classified among 'the servants of Solomon' whose descendants returned from Babylonian exile under Zerubbabel (Ezra 2:55). The servants of Solomon were a hereditary class of temple or royal servants, distinct from but similar to the temple servants (nethinim). The textual variation between Peruda and Perida reflects minor differences in the parallel registers of Ezra and Nehemiah.
