The Sukkiim were an African people who joined Shishak's invasion of Judah.
Sukkiim were among the Egyptian and Libyan troops that accompanied Shishak (Sheshonq I) when he invaded Judah in the fifth year of Rehoboam's reign (2 Chronicles 12:3). The precise identity of the Sukkiim is debated by scholars, with some identifying them as Libyan or African mercenaries from the region west of Egypt; their inclusion in the list of Shishak's forces reflects the multinational character of the Egyptian army of the late New Kingdom and Third Intermediate periods.
