Tabeel was a Persian official who joined in writing an accusation against the Jews to Artaxerxes.

Tabeel was a Persian official who, together with Rehum, Shimshai, and others, wrote a letter of accusation against the Jewish community to King Artaxerxes, opposing the rebuilding of Jerusalem (Ezra 4:7). The letter, written in Aramaic, succeeded temporarily in halting construction. Tabeel is mentioned only in this single reference and is known solely for his participation in this administrative obstruction of the restoration effort.
