He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

This verse from 시편 Chapter 10 connects to 10 cross-references. 9편과 짝을 이루는 탄식 시편이다. 악인이 번영하는데 하나님은 어디 계신가 묻는다. 교만한 자들이 하나님이 심판하지 않을 것이라 생각하며 가난한 자를 짓밟는다. 이어서 하나님이 고아의 변호자로 일어나시길 간구한다.
