꿈

A means through which God communicated with individuals in Scripture. Jacob dreamed of a ladder reaching heaven (Genesis 28:12). Joseph's dreams foretold his family's future (Genesis 37:5-10), and he interpreted Pharaoh's dreams (Genesis 41). Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dreams (Daniel 2, 4). Joel 2:28 prophesied that in the last days 'your old men will dream dreams.' In the New Testament, Joseph received divine guidance through dreams (Matthew 1:20, 2:13, 2:19-20), and the Magi were warned in a dream (Matthew 2:12). Job 33:14-16 acknowledges that God 'speaks in dreams, in visions of the night.'
