Telem was a temple servant who married a foreign wife during the Exile and later divorced her.

Telem was a temple gatekeeper who had married a foreign wife during the period of the Babylonian exile and appeared on the list of those who agreed to dissolve those marriages under Ezra's reform program (Ezra 10:24). He is the only gatekeeper named in that particular list, reflecting Ezra's concern that even the temple servants conform to the covenant community's standards. Telem is known solely from this single verse.
