Psalms 71:15
My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

The aged psalmist's vow to proclaim God's righteousness and salvation 'all the day' is notable for its honest admission: 'for I know not the numbers thereof.' The incalculability of God's saving acts is itself the motivation for continuous praise — there is always more to tell than has yet been told. The verse models a theology of proclamation rooted not in exhaustive doctrinal knowledge but in the surplus of experienced grace. Paul's 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' (Philippians 4:13) and his doxology 'O the depth of the riches' (Romans 11:33) reflect the same sense of standing before inexhaustible divine generosity.
