Evangelismo

The proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ to those who have not believed. The word 'evangel' (euangelion) means good news. Romans 10:14-15 outlines the logic: 'How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?... How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!' Jesus himself came 'to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God' (Luke 4:43). Philip evangelized the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-40). Paul declared, 'I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes' (Romans 1:16). Evangelism is every believer's calling.
