Weariness
Physical and spiritual exhaustion that drives believers to depend on God's sustaining power. Isaiah 40:28-31 addresses the weary: 'The Lord is the everlasting God... He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.' Jesus invited, 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28). Galatians 6:9 warns, 'Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest.' Hebrews 12:3 urges believers to consider Christ 'so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.' Even Elijah collapsed from weariness (1 Kings 19:4-8), and God responded with rest and nourishment, not rebuke.
