Chloe's household informed Paul about divisions in the Corinthian church.

Chloe was a Christian woman whose household members reported to the apostle Paul about the divisions and quarrels within the church at Corinth (1 Corinthians 1:11). Whether 'Chloe's people' were her slaves, freedmen, or family members is unknown, but they served as the informants whose report prompted Paul's lengthy corrective letter to the Corinthians. Chloe herself appears to have been a person of some standing, since her household had sufficient contact with Paul to bring him detailed intelligence about the Corinthian situation.
