Йашобеам

Jashobeam the Korahite was a Levitical warrior from the tribe of Levi who joined David at Ziklag, listed among those who defected to David before his kingship was established (1 Chronicles 12:6). His service on behalf of David prior to the kingship marked him as part of the loyal core that formed around David during his years of exile from Saul's court. A Jashobeam son of Zabdiel also appears as the commander of the first monthly division of David's army (1 Chronicles 27:2–3), who may be this same figure in a later role.
