Pudens, a Christian in Rome who sent greetings to Timothy through Paul's letter.

Pudens was a Christian in Rome who sent greetings to Timothy through Paul's second letter (2 Timothy 4:21), mentioned alongside Eubulus, Linus, Claudia, and 'all the brothers.' His Latin name was common in Roman society. Early Christian tradition identified him with a Roman senator named Pudens who was said to have hosted both Peter and Paul, and whose house later became the church of Santa Pudenziana, though the historical basis for these traditions is uncertain.
