God's absolute authority and control over all creation, history, and destiny. Psalm 115:3 declares 'Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.' Isaiah 46:10 affirms that God declares 'the end from the beginning.' Daniel 4:35 states that God 'does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth.' Divine sovereignty encompasses God's governance of nations (Acts 17:26), natural events (Matthew 5:45), and the course of salvation history (Ephesians 1:11). This doctrine brings comfort to believers, assuring them that nothing happens outside God's purposeful plan.
