Наследование земли

God's promise of a specific territory to Abraham and his descendants, central to Israel's identity. Genesis 12:7 records, 'To your offspring I will give this land.' Genesis 15:18-21 specifies boundaries 'from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.' Joshua led the conquest and allocation of the land (Joshua 13-21). Loss of the land through exile and return to it confirmed the covenant's conditional blessings and curses (Deuteronomy 28-30). Hebrews 11:8-16 reinterprets the land promise spiritually — the patriarchs 'were longing for a better country, a heavenly one.' The new heaven and new earth (Revelation 21:1) represent the ultimate fulfillment of the land promise.
