Glorification
The final stage of salvation when believers are fully conformed to Christ's image in resurrected, imperishable bodies. Romans 8:30 includes it in the golden chain: 'Those he justified, he also glorified.' Philippians 3:20-21 anticipates Christ transforming 'our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.' First John 3:2 promises, 'When Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.' First Corinthians 15:43 describes the resurrection body: 'It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.' Glorification is the certain hope that God will complete what he began (Philippians 1:6).
