Son of Man

20 câu

Jesus' most frequent self-designation, appearing over 80 times in the Gospels. The title draws from Daniel 7:13-14, where 'one like a son of man' approaches God's throne and receives everlasting dominion over all nations. Jesus used it to describe his earthly ministry (Mark 2:10, 'The Son of Man has authority to forgive sins'), his suffering (Mark 10:45, 'came to serve and to give his life as a ransom'), and his future glory (Matthew 24:30, 'coming on the clouds of heaven'). The title captures both Jesus' genuine humanity and his divine authority, while avoiding the political connotations of 'Messiah' or 'King.'
