Pilha, one of the leaders of the people who signed the covenant during Nehemiah's time.

Pilha was one of the leaders of the people who signed the covenant document under Nehemiah, committing the post-exilic community to observe the law of Moses including its provisions for Sabbath, sabbatical year, and temple support (Nehemiah 10:24). He belongs to the group of civic leaders who signed alongside the priests, Levites, and nobles of the people. Pilha appears only in this covenant context.
