神圣启示

God's self-disclosure to humanity through both general means (creation, conscience) and special means (Scripture, prophets, Christ). Hebrews 1:1-2 summarizes: 'In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.' Second Timothy 3:16 declares all Scripture is 'God-breathed.' Second Peter 1:21 explains that 'prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.' Revelation is necessary because fallen humanity cannot discover God through unaided reason (1 Corinthians 2:10-14).
