浪子回头的比喻

Jesus' most beloved parable (Luke 15:11-32), illustrating God's extravagant love for sinners who return to him. A younger son demands his inheritance, squanders it in wild living, and hits rock bottom feeding pigs. Coming to his senses, he returns home expecting to become a servant. Instead, his father runs to embrace him, places a robe and ring on him, and throws a feast: 'This son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' The elder brother's resentment reveals self-righteous pride. The parable addresses both the openly sinful (younger son) and the religiously proud (elder son), proclaiming that God's grace welcomes all who come home.
