The Septuagint (Greek Old Testament) made Scripture accessible to the Hellenistic world. Jesus likely spoke Aramaic while the New Testament was written in Greek — itself an act of cultural translation. Revelation 7:9 envisions worshippers from 'every nation, tribe, people and language.' Translation makes this vision possible.
