परमेश्वर के लिए भूख

The expression of grief over loss, legitimized and honored throughout Scripture. Ecclesiastes 3:4 affirms 'a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.' Jesus pronounced, 'Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted' (Matthew 5:4). Ancient mourning practices included weeping, tearing garments, wearing sackcloth, and sitting in ashes (Genesis 37:34, Job 2:12-13). The psalms of lament (Psalms 13, 22, 42, 88) model honest grief before God. Jesus himself mourned (John 11:35, Luke 19:41). Romans 12:15 instructs, 'Mourn with those who mourn.' Revelation 21:4 promises a day when God 'will wipe every tear from their eyes.'
