पवित्र जीवन
God's miraculous parting of the waters to deliver Israel from Pharaoh's pursuing army (Exodus 14). Moses stretched out his hand, 'and the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind' (14:21). Israel crossed on dry ground with walls of water on either side. When the Egyptians followed, God released the waters, destroying the army (14:26-28). The Song of Moses (Exodus 15:1-18) celebrates this supreme act of deliverance. The Red Sea crossing became Israel's defining salvation event, referenced throughout Scripture (Psalm 66:6, 77:19, Isaiah 51:10). It foreshadows baptism (1 Corinthians 10:1-2) and serves as the ultimate Old Testament demonstration that God saves his people from impossible situations.
