Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

This verse from 전도서 Chapter 7 connects to 10 cross-references. 혼자이면 넘어질 때 일으켜 줄 자가 없으나 둘이면 따뜻하게 하고 적을 대적할 수 있다. 삼겹 줄은 쉽게 끊어지지 않는다. 지혜로운 늙은 왕보다 가난한 청년이 낫다.
