우울

Deep sadness and despair experienced by many biblical figures. Elijah, after his greatest victory, wished to die: 'I have had enough, Lord... Take my life' (1 Kings 19:4). God responded with rest, food, and a gentle whisper. David cried, 'Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?' — then directed himself to 'put your hope in God' (Psalm 42:11). Jeremiah is called the 'weeping prophet' (Jeremiah 9:1). Job cursed the day of his birth (Job 3:1). Paul was 'under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure' (2 Corinthians 1:8). Scripture validates emotional suffering while pointing toward God as the source of comfort and restoration.
