Jonah 3:10
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Context
This verse from Jonah Chapter 3 connects to 10 cross-references. Jonah preaches to Nineveh: 'Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown.' Remarkably the entire city — from king to animals — repents in sackcloth. God sees their repentance and relents from the disaster he had said he would bring.
