教師たち

Those gifted to explain and apply Scripture within the community of faith. Jesus was called 'Rabbi' (Teacher) and his teaching ministry forms a major portion of the Gospels, including the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), parables, and the Upper Room Discourse (John 13-17). Ephesians 4:11 lists 'pastors and teachers' as gifts to the church. James 3:1 warns, 'Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.' Faithful teaching preserves apostolic truth and equips believers 'for works of service' (Ephesians 4:12).
