This verse from 욥기 Chapter 20 connects to 10 cross-references. 소발이 두 번째 연설에서 악인의 승리가 잠깐임을 주장한다. 악인이 재물을 삼키지만 반드시 도로 토해내야 하고 하나님의 진노가 쏟아질 것이라 한다. 이 전통적인 응보 신학을 욥의 상황에 가차 없이 적용하지만 욥의 고통에 대한 진정한 이해는 없다.
