The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

악행을 일삼는 자들을 내버려두시는 것 같은 하나님께 심판자로 일어나시길 호소하는 탄식이다. 교만한 자들이 자신들의 악행을 하나님이 보지 못하신다고 큰소리치지만 시인은 하나님이 백성을 버리지 않으실 것이라는 확신으로 마음을 굳힌다.
