The internalization of Torah ('in their inward parts') signals the transformation from external legal compliance to Spirit-enabled obedience from the heart — the very transformation Ezekiel 36:26-27 anticipates through the new spirit and new heart. Paul's 'epistles written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart' (2 Corinthians 3:3) applies this promise directly to the Corinthian community.
